A community network of support services, enabling residents of northwest DC (Chevy Chase, AU Park and Tenleytown) to remain independent at home.
Northwest Neighbors Village (NNV) is part of the Senior Services Network, supported by the D.C. Office of Aging. NNV is a non-profit organization created to help the residents of northwest DC live comfortably and safely in their own homes and neighborhood as they age.
In an effort to serve more residents in northwest DC, NNV is extending its reach to American University Park and the Tenleytown area - please see boundary map.

ABOUT US: Through a centrally-coordinated, local network of screened volunteers and vetted professional providers, NNV offers its members transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping assistance, home repairs and handyman help, computer and technology assistance, access to social and cultural activities and more. NNV also makes appointments for members with professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and home health care providers.
Beacon Hill Village in Boston was the pioneer and is our model. In Washington DC, the Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle, Palisades, and Pennsylvania Avenue East neighborhoods have also formed villages. We are incorporated in the District of Columbia as a non-profit, with a Board of Directors and working committees. The IRS has designated NNV as a 501(c)(3), organization making all donations tax-deductible.
